The Grand Outlook

The Grand Outlook is located on a private 280-acre guest ranch named Antler Basin Ranch a few miles outside of Granby, Colorado. The ranch was previously a local ski area named Frosty Basin and featured two rope tows, a jumping hill, warming hut and floodlights for night skiing.

Antler Basin Ranch has a beautiful log cabin available as a rental and for events. The owners decided to create an additional place for more adventurous guests to stay about a mile away from the cabin. The site is secluded in its own private area, has plenty of wildlife, and amazing mountain views.

The tent sits on an eastern facing mountain at an elevation of over 8,000 ft and temperatures can get cold, even in the summer. The owners decided to insulate the tent to help extend the season. In addition, they installed a dedicated solar array to provide off-grid power for lights, fans, pumps, USB chargers, and a small refrigerator.
