The first installation of an Autonomous Tent® for personal use was installed “Somewhere in the West” on a private ranch backing up to the wilderness. We were honored to work side-by-side with a team of world-class builders that customized the tent as a hunting cabin. The tent is powered by solar, has a composting toilet, a generous sized kitchen area, and two wood burning stoves.

The stars at this location are incredible. It is at least 30 miles to the nearest city with very little light pollution. We hired a photographer to capture the Milky Way behind the glowing tent on a moonless night. It was an amazing experience as we stayed up all night watching the stars progress across the sky.
